Review
YASA DVD to MPEG Converter is a software application to extract DVD contents and convert them to MPEG MPG. The ripped data can be recorded (burned) to CDs.
The application can duplicate the whole DVD, and make backup DVD copies. User can rip (extract) the entire DVD or selected segments. The selection can be made by time, by frame and by chapter; and the conversion to VCD (MPEG 1), SVCD (MPEG 2), or AVI/DivX.
The program offers file split capability, to save huge files in smaller parts. Also, the video and audio codecs are selectable.
User interface is very clear and easy to use. The new DVDs can be backed up with just a couple of mouse clicks and be added to a DVD library to play and protect the original. If the DVD is extracted and converted to MPEG, it can be played on any computer DVD player like Windows Media player.
The application supports drag and drop operations with Windows Explorer, so user can copy any file into the program list. Also, batch conversion is supported by the application, converting all the files on the conversion list. The operation doesn't require any user interaction. |
